Donna M. Meese, 73, Oblong, Illinois went home to the Lord at 9:14 A. M. Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Born in Hardinville, Illinois on December 24, 1938, she was the daughter of Elmer E. Milam Sr. and Lorraine (Jukens) Milam. She was a cook at the Hi-Way Cafe, Oblong, Illinois; home care giver and a homemaker. She was a member of the Bible Chapel Church, rural Robinson, Illinois. Her hobbies included working puzzle books and making quilts.
On May 16, 1958, she married Morris LaVern Meese, who survives. Also surviving is a son, Bill Meese; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pam & Jerry Merideth and Patty & Ed Higgins; six grandchildren, Dustin Meese, Brandy Dunn, Marty Merideth, Dutches Merideth-Lowe, Cody Higgins and Rachel Higgins; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Elmer Milam Jr. and a daughter-in-law, Jean Meese.
Bro. Joe Griffith will officiate the funeral service. Burial will be in the Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, Illinois.
